Lopez Canyon Appeal Goes To City Hall

The Appeal filed by the Community Alliance for Open Space (STA is a member) to stop a truck driving school from being built on dedicated open space on the former Lopez Canyon Landfill is headed downtown.

On Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 2:30 pm, the Appeal will go before the Planning and Land Use Management (PLUM) Committee of the Los Angeles City Council. This hearing will be held in Room 350 of City Hall 200 North Spring Street.

PLUM will study the Appeal, listen to public comments and then make a recommendation to the full City Council.

The full City Council will consider the matter on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 10:00am in the John Ferraro Council Chamber, Room 340 of City Hall.
