In the latest strange turn of events, the developers who are seeking to transform the VHGC into housing are now declining to meet with the very community the proposed project will affect! MWH/Snowball West Investments has declined to share information with the public during the public comment period for the Draft EIR. A presentation by the developers would help the community to better understand what is proposed at the golf course, but the developers have decided otherwise. It appears that any type of presentation would raise more questions than it answers so the developers want to play it safe and avoid public inquiry until the comment period for the Draft EIR is complete. How’s that for avoiding scrutiny? Shame on you MWH/Snowball . This proposed housing project will destroy our beloved golf course and transform the entire TCB/LA Tuna Canyon corridor, and the developers are hiding! For detailed information on the VHGC and how you can contribute to saving the golf course, please visit the wonderfully put together website by VOICE at SAVETHEGOLFCOURSE.ORG.
Even more reason to attend the July 7 Town Hall Meeting, where you will see examples of the proposed development and learn about some of the negative environmental impacts that would result if this project is allowed to move forward.

To all that is or is not involvved in the destruction of our beuatiful VERDUGO HILLS GOLF COURSE! Please, stop & think about our enviornment and how much the air quality will drop and by destroying the old and new oak trees you will also kill off animals because they will get trapt and will be chaced out where they don’t have a place to call home! We are invading our GOD’s given only land, the place to live! It’s not like you and me where we could say ok I will get in my car and grab my things and move across town or state!
Please help our community to end this and avoid the destruction. We need to hold on to Historic Memories and what it stands for as well as what it does for the community.
Thanks,
